About Senthil Nathan
Senthil is one of Asia’s leading experts in responsible sourcing and business ethics. Born in a village in South India, he grew up on a smallholder farm where water was scarce and income uncertain. Despite these challenges, and with his father taking on loans to support his education, Senthil became the first in his family to graduate from both high school and university.
With over two decades of experience across multiple countries in business and international development, Senthil brings a fresh, global perspective to conversations about sustainability and fairness in supply chains. He currently serves as Chief Executive of Fairtrade Australia New Zealand and is an alumnus of Columbia University.
